This verse sheds light into understanding why some people are so actively serving God while others find it a real challenge to do so. It records that those who served the Lord were those who have seen the great works God had done for Israel. It is impossible to ignore God when God is real and you have tasted His goodness! How will you not serve God through worship and service when the Almighty God has revealed Himself to you! Indeed, you will serve Him out of awe and gratitude to Him. Meanwhile, those who hesitate to serve are those who aren’t that sure who God is and have not personally entered the reality of His power in their lives.

The New Testament encourages us to encounter the Power of the Holy Spirit so that our faith will not rest in the wisdom of man’s words, but in the Power of the God!

这节经文让我们明白为什么有些人如此积极地事奉神，而另一些人却觉得这是一个真正的挑战。圣经上记载着，事奉耶和华的是那些看见神为以色列人所行大事的人。当神是真实的，你已经尝过祂的美善，你就不可能忽视祂。当全能的神向你显明祂的时候，你怎能不敬拜和事奉神呢? 的确，你会出于敬畏和感激而事奉祂。与此同时，那些犹豫服事的人是那些不太确定神是谁的人。他们也没有在他们的生命中体验神的大能。 

新约鼓励我们与圣灵的大能相遇，这样我们的信心就不会停留在人的智慧言语上，而是停留在神的大能上! 

Ayat ini menerangkan secara jelas mengapa sesetengah orang begitu aktif melayani Tuhan manakala yang lain mendapati sukar untuk berbuat demikian. Ia mencatatkan bahawa mereka yang melayani Tuhan adalah mereka yang telah melihat perbuatan besar yang telah Tuhan lakukan untuk Israel. Mustahil untuk tidak mempedulikan Tuhan apabila Tuhan itu nyata dan anda telah menikmati kebaikan-Nya! Bagaimana anda tidak akan melayani Tuhan melalui penyembahan dan pelayanan apabila Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa telah menyatakan diri-Nya kepada anda! Sudah tentu anda melayani-Nya kerana rasa kagum dan bersyukur kepadaNya. Sementara itu, mereka yang keberatan untuk melayani adalah mereka yang tidak begitu pasti siapa Tuhan dan tidak secara peribadi memasuki realiti kuasa-Nya dalam kehidupan mereka.

Perjanjian Baru mendorong kita untuk mengalami Kuasa Roh Kudus supaya iman kita tidak bergantung pada kebijaksanaan perkataan manusia, tetapi pada Kuasa Tuhan!
