Every promise of God is given with the intention for fulfilment. The question is not one of ‘if it can be fulfilled’, but rather ‘when will it be fulfilled’. Always remember the prerogative of fulfilment of the promises always rest solely in the One who gave it. Since God is a God of purpose, order, design, and objectivity, He has set seasons and timings for the fulfilment of His promises to us.

• Jesus waited for 30 years before publicly revealing Himself as the coming Messiah and Saviour.
  
• The 120 disciples of Christ waited for 10 days before the promised Holy Spirit came down on them.
  
• The Apostle Paul waited for 14 years after his initial encounter before he was accepted and recognised as an Apostle to the Gentiles.

As such, we must learn to embrace the timing of God and rest in His faithfulness and not expect things to happen your way. Remember you are only the recipient and not the giver of the promise.  Let the Giver choose when, how, who, and what He will use to fulfil the promise.

What should you do as you wait for God’s promises to be fulfilled?

神的每一个应许都是为了实现而赐下的。 问题不是“能否实现”，而是“什么时候实现”。 永远记住，履行应许的特权永远只属于给予应许的那一位。 由于神是一位有目的、秩序、设计和客观的神，祂为实现他对我们的应许设定了季节和时间。

• 耶稣等了30 年才公开显明自己是弥赛亚和救主。
  
• 耶稣基督的120 个门徒等了10 天，圣灵才按主的应许降临在他们身上。
  
• 使徒保罗在初次经历神后等了14 年才被接受并承认为外邦人的使徒。

因此，我们必须学会接受神的时间安排并安息在祂的信实中，而不是期望事情会按照你的方式发生。 请记住，你只是应许的接受者，而不是赐予应许者。 让赐予者选择何时、如何、由谁以及用什么方式来履行祂的应许。

当你等待神应许成就的同时，你该做些什么呢？

Setiap janji Tuhan diberikan dengan maksud untuk digenapi. Persoalannya bukan ‘jika boleh digenapi’, tetapi lebih kepada ‘bilakah ia akan digenapi’. Sentiasa ingat bahawa hak prerogatif (hak istimewa) untuk memenuhi janji tersebut terletak sepenuhnya pada Dia yang memberikannya. Oleh kerana Tuhan adalah Tuhan yang mempunyai tujuan, ketertiban, reka bentuk, dan objektiviti, Dia telah menetapkan musim dan masa untuk menggenapi janji-janji-Nya kepada kita.

• Yesus menunggu selama 30 tahun sebelum mendedahkan diriNya secara terbuka sebagai Mesias dan Juruselamat yang akan datang.
  
• 120 murid Kristus menunggu selama 10 hari sebelum Roh Kudus yang dijanjikan turun ke atas mereka.
  
• Rasul Paulus menunggu selama 14 tahun selepas pertemuan awalnya sebelum dia diterima dan diperakui sebagai Rasul kepada orang bukan Yahudi.

Oleh itu, kita harus belajar menerima waktu Tuhan dan bersandar dalam kesetiaan-Nya dan tidak mengharapkan segala perkara berlaku mengikut cara anda. Ingatlah bahawa anda hanya penerima dan bukan pemberi janji. Biarkan Pemberi memilih bila, bagaimana, siapa, dan apa yang akan Dia gunakan untuk memenuhi janji tersebut.
