Speak words of encouragement. Communicate hope. Speak purpose. Communicate vision. Hope, purpose & vision lift people up. There is too much negativity and too many setbacks in life. We are bearers of God’s image. God created the universe by His words. As image-bearers, we too recognise the power of godly words.

Words are like lighthouses. Lighthouses guide the maritime pilots safely through the busy, dangerous coastal waters safely to the harbour.

What we say, what we confess with our mouths is going to help us navigate toward the destination of our lives and dictate our quality of life.

When the people heard Nehemiah’s proclamation and testimony, they said, “Let us rise up and build.” Then they set their hands to this good work.

Proclaim God’s good words. Godly words are powerful healers and great lifters to the hearers. Jesus said “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
